Across the nation, Scholarship America's programs -- including Dollars for Scholars -- have given out $2.5 billion to nearly 2 million students since its founding 50 years ago.  Locally, the Coshocton County chapter has awarded $2,520,000.00 to 4320 students in the County!  In 2022 alone our Dollars for Scholars awards realized $112,500 to 103 applicants. 

Our basic philosophy is that these awards are investments in students and the community.  While it's difficult to measure the true and total impact, one return on investment is that many positively affected by the awards eventually return to the community to live, work , raise families and encourage others toward educational and professional goals. Several former Dollars for Scholars recipients currently serve on the Board in support of the mission and philosophy.
